So many patterns call for the Brioche stitch and some instructions make it seem overly complicated. After teaching brioche many times, I wanted to create an extremely easy project that would ensure a successful start to knitting brioche and offer a lovely cushy cowl as a final product.
Everything you learn in this series of classes applies to table looms and floor looms. We will warp our looms with carpet warp or something similar (available in store).

Toe-Up Sock Basics – is designed to teach you the basics of making a sock beginning at the toe using a worsted weight (No 4), 5 stitches- to- the- inch yarn. For needles use a US 7 or 8 and choose your favorite method for working a small circumference in the round (double pointed needles, 24 in circular needle for magic loop, Flexi Flips or 2 circular needles).
